TAGLIT Users: School Leader

The School Leader Assessment collects information about technology planning, policies, budget, resources, technical and instructional support, professional development, and community involvement. This assessment is most often completed by the school principal in collaboration with the business manager/clerk and technology personnel.

The Basic TAGLIT assessment consists of questions that were developed at the University of North Carolina Center for School Leadership Development and later adopted by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for implementation in its State Technology Challenge Grants awarded to schools in all 50 states. This version of TAGLIT has been available to schools since 2000.

The School Leader Basic TAGLIT assessment is divided into the following 10 sections:
