The TAGLIT process begins by registering a School District at www.testkids.com/taglit. Upon registration, instructions are provided to register the school(s) belonging to the district and then register Teachers to an associated school. TAGLIT automatically creates login information for the student assessment.
There are several steps required to register before individuals may begin the using the TAGLIT assessment instrument. The first step of the process requires you to register your School District. You should note that once your district is registered, you do not need to re-register it, even if you do not take the assessment each year. By clicking the School District link below, you may check to see if your district is listed before you try registering it again.
Once the district is registered the next step is to register a District Data Administrator. This individual is usually an administrator and is responsible for registering schools and School Leaders. After the assessment is closed the District Data Administrator is also responsible for generating the assessment reports. The District Data Administrator may also register the Teachers for the entire district, if appropriate. If the District Data Administrator does not register the teachers, the School Leader (often a principal) or the School Data Manger (who is registered by the School Leader) may register only the teachers within their individual school building.
After Teachers are registered, they receive an E-mail containing a " Class Pass" which is the login information their students need to enter the assessment instrument. |
